Craigslist’s aptly named Rants & Raves section is a perfect storm of misplaced anger, racism and, very occasionally, helpful tips. It’s where you go when you want to get something off your chest, but definitely don’t want anyone to know you said it. So basically, it’s like everything on the Internet. Shreveport’s own Rants & Raves page is no different.
Check out some of the funniest, craziest posts made by disgruntled locals about topics such as illegal immigration, road construction and property taxes.
One particularly incensed person is just not a big fan of “Mexican Chimichanga Music,” especially when it’s played loudly and by people he believes to be illegal immigrants. The angry neighbor wrote up a doozy.
Somebody then replied to the call-out, sparking a big cyber fight. Unlike real-life fights, however, nobody ever wins these.
Then, there’s that guy who hates pretty much everything.
Of course, there’s plenty to gripe about other than Mexican music and illegal immigration, as one concerned motorist demonstrates here.
Another disgruntled citizen isn’t too happy about the cost of his property taxes. He isn’t shy about cussing out the IRS.
