We have A LOT of really good concerts coming to the Shreveport/Bossier area early this year. Everything from hard rock with Disturbed & Rob Zombie, to legendary rocker Robert Plant, with everything in between like Modest Mouse or Trivium.

But the band that I think is getting a little lost is ZZ Top, and that's a shame.

They'll be at the historic Shreveport Municipal Auditorium on Sunday, April 24th.

These guys have done nothing wrong, and this is going to be a phenomenal show. But with everything else going on, they just aren't getting their earned time. Part of the problem might be that Shreveport/Bossier has had a lot of chances to hang out with the boys in ZZ Top. They've visited the area often over the last three decades, but they haven't been in Shreveport since 1999.

I know, they've been to Bossier City since then, but they haven't performed in the Shreveport city limits in over 15 years.

Anyway, the guys are coming back to town, and we can't wait. Hopefully you're just as excited as we are. In case you're not, check out these old school ZZ Top videos to get yourself fired up:
