Those who travel daily in Shreveport and Bossier City on I-20 can agree on one thing. That roadway is certainly never boring and brings On one side of the coin, any type of road work on I-20 always has the potential to bring on traffic nightmares.

On the other side of that same coin, at least the Louisiana Department of Transportation is trying to do this work in lesser traveled hours to hopefully avoid some of that congestion.

Regardless, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development is advising us that the inside lane of the I-20 westbound overpass of Airline Drive in Bossier will be closed next Tuesday, February 15 at 9:00 pm until 6:00 am on Wednesday, February 16 so that contractors can make repairs to the guardrail.

As with all projects of this nature, the work will be performed weather permitting.
