Having been a Tool and A Perfect Circle fan for years, when the opportunity came to see Maynard Keenan's other side project, Puscifer, in Baton Rouge last year...it was a road trip I had to make. It has been seven years since Tool last gave us their last album, ‘10,000 Days,' which fans are hoping is not an indicator of how long they will have to wait before another one hits the shelves. There have been sporadic updates from members and the band's website and now singer Maynard James Keenan has given an update on the progress from where he stands.

If you're a fan of Maynard J. Keenan, you better get ready to change your underwear. Not only does MJK have a 2 new releases from A Perfect Circle (A Live DVD/Album and a Greatest Hits Collection), not only is he hard at work on a new TOOL album that will be coming out sometime early next year (maybe), but on November 26 Puscifer will release a live DVD called 'What Is...'!

Fans who have been patiently waiting for Tool's next album will unfortunately have to hang in there a bit longer according to vocalist Maynard James Keenan. In a recent interview with Chile's Radio Futuro, Keenan apparently stated that Tool will not be releasing a new album in 2013.
