"Living Things," the new album from Linkin Park, is due June 26. Their North American tour kicks off on August 11th - catch them in Dallas at the Gexa Energy Pavillion on August 27th. The video for the album's lead single, "Burn It Down." has just hit the interweb...check it out here:

Linkin Park have taken an active philanthropic role since the Japan earthquake and tsunami disaster struck earlier this year. The band quickly began to raise money for ‘Save the Children‘ — an international charily focused on children’s rights, providing relief and supporting children in developing countries.

Linkin Park often encourages its audience to make charitable contributions, acknowledges singer Chester Bennington. So when they put out the call to raise money for tsunami relief in Japan, Bennington and his band mates decided to give their fans some extra incentive. And it’s a good one for both sides. It's not hard to ascertain that Linkin Park are fans of the Transformers movies, considering that they've contributed songs to the soundtracks of all three movies .

Transformers 3: Dark Side of the Moon comes out June 29th. As we all wait with baited breath to find out if Michael Bay can resurrect his opus, there is hope with the new Transformers 3 soundtrack. Ok Guys, I'm really pumped about this album.  We all know Travis Barker can be considered one of the best drummers of our time.  I would even go as far as saying he has a better edge on the drums than Tommy Lee and we know Tommy is freaking talented...
