As part of their 12-show ‘Appetite for Democracy’ residency at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nev. back in November, Guns N’ Roses recorded one of the shows for an upcoming 3D concert film. Fans can now get a taste of the upcoming release with a first look video preview featuring one of the band’s classic tunes, ‘Paradise City.’
Guns N' Roses just completed their 'Appetite for Democracy' residency in Las Vegas on Nov. 24, and fans who attended the final two shows were gifted with an pleasant surprise. Former GN'R guitarist Izzy Stradlin joined the band onstage for a number of songs throughout the band's sets, including '14 Years,' 'Knockin' on Heaven's Door,' Used to Love Her' and 'Paradise City.'
The Guns N' Roses Las Vegas residency was cool as it was, but it got a little cooler this past week for one very young fan. Last weekend was New York’s CBGB Festival, and judging from the reports, saying that it rocked would be an understatement. The festival was put together to help commemorate the history of the legendary club, one known for its underground culture and utter grungy rock feel.
Slash hasn’t even begun his summer tour, but he’s announced 18 dates for a fall tour of America that will include Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators. The trek begins Sept. 4 in San Diego, Calif and wraps up Oct. 3 in Los Angeles and includes stops in major cities across the country.
