Sammy Hagar, Michael Anthony, Joe Satriani, and Kenny Aronoff (sitting in for Chad Smith, who's out with the Red Hot Chili Peppers) are road testing Chickenfoot in Europe for a few days - kicking off part 2 of their Road Test Tour in Manchester, England last Thursday.
There is a really cool interview with Michael Anthony in Premier Guitar that just came out which discusses Chickenfoot, how much money has has (he has been called the wealthiest member of Van Halen) and if he would ever consider re-joining Van Halen for any reason.

Side projects aren’t supposed to conflict with a musician’s main gig, but sometimes it does happen — just ask Chad Smith, the longtime Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer who also keeps the beat for the supergroup Chickenfoot.
The Chili Peppers and Chickenfoot have new studio albums coming out very soon. And with the likelihood that both bands will be on the road at the same time, Smith has called in a ringer to keep his ‘Foot stool warm: good buddy Kenny Aronoff.
Rock supergroups have always been notorious for flaming out quickly, so when we found out Sammy Hagar was teaming up with Joe Satriani, Michael Anthony, and Chad Smith to form Chickenfoot, we knew only time would tell if they stood the test of time.
But in spite of the scheduling difficulties (and, no doubt, ego-juggling) that comes with a collaboration this size, the band has managed to defy the odds by finishing work on its second CD.
