No doubt, 2020 has been rough on pretty much everyone.  In many ways, frontline workers have had it the hardest.  Long shifts, constant disinfection, and isolation from loved ones have got to take a toll on even the toughest and most dedicated folks trying to help the rest of us get through this horrible pandemic.  Combine that with the constant danger of actually getting the disease and you can see why these folks are basically saints.

Some companies seem to have noticed, and have chipped in either with donations to charities that are fighting the pandemic or to support those in the fight.  Starbucks Coffee is stepping up to the plate in an effort to give those on the front lines of this fight a little more pep in their step.

According to FOX News, the Seattle-based coffee chain has brewed and given out more than 2 million cups of their world famous coffee to essential workers this year, and they have pledged to continue that caffeinated support throughout the rest of this accursed year.

In order to redeem this generous offer, eligible front-line workers reportedly just need to show up at their local Starbucks (luckily, there are tons in the Shreveport / Bossier City area) and tell them who you are - no ID needed.  Eligible job titles include: "...doctors, nurses, public health workers, pharmacists, dispatchers, firefighters, paramedics, police officers, dentists, dental hygienists, mental health workers, social workers, hospital staffers (janitors/housekeeping/security, etc.) and active-duty military members."
