“Ride For Dime” – In Honor of “Dimebag” Darrell – Scheduled

Whether you’re a biker, rocker, or a supporter of music education – you’ll want to be at Trees in Deep Ellum (Dallas) on August 20th. It’s the “Ride For Dime 2011″, held in memory of Pantera/Damageplan guitarist “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott. The ride starts at 3 PM from Longhorn Harley in Grand Prarie, with live music starting at 4 PM featuring:

- BURN DOWN
- SNAKE SKIN PRISON
- PISTOL WHIPPIN IKE
- MESSER
- HONKY
- TEXAS HIPPIE COALITION
- COWBOYS FROM HELL PASO
and an all-star cover band featuring Andrew Freeman (LYNCH MOB, OFFSPRING), Rev Jones (MICHAEL SCHEKER GROUP, MOUNTAIN) and Craig “Louisiana Lighting” Nunenmacher (CROWBAR, BLACK LABEL SOCIETY).
Tickets are available here – $20.00 in advance, or $25.00 day of show – with a portion of the proceeds going to Little Kids Rock and The Ride For Dime Scholarship Fund – keeping the music alive through Americas youth.
