The 99X – Redd’s Apple Ale Festapalooza is a little more than two weeks away (Saturday, September 14 at Shreveport’s Festival Plaza), and one of the highlights is sure to be the performance by long-time 99X staple, Filter.

Formed in 1993 by Nine Inch Nails guitarist Richard Patrick, it’s been a long, often chaotic road to success for Filter. Patrick discusses the beginnings of Filter, the new album “The Sun Comes Out Tonight,” and everything in between in a great interview with Cryptic Rock.

Check out the interview here, and see Filter live at Festapalooza on September 14.
