More bad news coming out of the Motorhead world. The band have cleared out a month of festival shows from their upcoming calendar.

According to Loudwire, they have canceled appearances at Welcome to Rockville in Jacksonville, FL (April 26-27), Carolina Rebellion in Charlotte, NC (May 3-4), Rock on the Range in Columbus, OH (May 16-18) and Rocklahoma in Pryor, OK (May 23-25). These and several other metal festivals across America in that time frame are being held under the banner of "World's Loudest Month," a partnership of AEG Live and Danny Wimmer Presents.

The festivals' websites offer a generic "circumstances beyond our control" as the reason. Meanwhile, Motorhead have, so far, remained silent on the issue. However, their tour calendar still lists their April West Coast swing and a handful of European dates in the summer, so we're hoping that this can be chalked down to a business conflict and not a return of Lemmy's health problems that caused Motorhead to cancel many shows in the past year, most recently last month's European tour.

Ultimate Classic Rock will have more on this news as it develops.
