Led Zeppelin to Fly Again?

It looks like Jason Bonham, Heart and Foo Fighter’s performances at the Kennedy Honors may have stirred some feelings of the past to “put the band back together”. After 6 years of Robert Plant saying that he had no interest in doing a Led Zeppelin reunion, his sense of nostalgia may have gotten the best of him.

This information comes after Robert Plant was being interviewed by the Australian version of 60 Minutes.

“[Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones] are Capricorns. They don’t say a word. They’re quite contained in their own worlds and they leave it to me,” said Plant. “I’m not the bad guy . . . You need to see the Capricorns – I’ve got nothing to do in 2014.”

While the excitement of Led Zeppelin surfaces every 4 or 5 years, Plant, Page, Jones and Jason Bonham did the reunion thing in 2007 for a one-night-only show on Dec. 10, 2007.After that show, Robert Plant distanced himself from the other members of Led Zeppelin and any discussions of the band getting back together.  He went so far as to make American music with Allison Krause. He even told Rolling Stone Magazine that he “was busy” and that would prevent him from working with Led Zeppelin.

So what can we expect from Led Zeppelin this time around? The only thing that has any legs is their new music streaming deal. Outside of that, there is nothing concrete about Led Zeppelin hitting the road, much less the studio. Could it happen, as Robert Plant would hint, Definitely Maybe
