Buzzards Roost 4th Annual Benefit Run For Homeless Vets is set for Thursday through Sunday, April 21st, 22nd, 23rd & 24th! This year's benefit will be held on the same weekend as the Wildflower Trails Festival in Hughes Springs, TX. Anyone coming to the benefit will have the opportunity to ride in the Wildflower Trails Parade and do the poker run. Gates at the Roost will open on Thursday, April 21st for anyone traveling in from out of town and for our vendors to set up for the weekend. Friday we'll have a Horseshoe Tourney about 1:00pm and afterwards the bands, Super Heavyweight & SYLO hit the stage to rock us into the night! Saturday morning the Poker Run starts at 10:00am. Register at the staging area at the High School parking lot between 9 & 10 am. Last bike in to the Roost by 4:00pm and the bike games begin shortly after the last bike in. Bike games will finish up just about dark and then The East Texas Garage Band will take the stage to entertain us into the wee hours. Sunday morning we'll offer up coffee, biscuits & sausage gravy & donuts round about 9:00am and then everyone packs up and says their goodbyes until next year. Live music, Poker Run, Bike Games, Horseshoe Tourney, Vendors, Free Primitive Camping, Restroom & Showers. This will be a jam packed weekend of good time for all!
