2012 Thoroughbred at Louisiana Downs Starts on Kentucky Oaks Day

The 2012 thoroughbred racing season at Louisiana Downs is set to kick-off on Friday with its traditional start alongside the Kentucky Oaks with a first race post of 1:25pm.

Fans can then come right back on Saturday and also watch and wager on the Kentucky Derby for an exciting opening weekend at Louisiana Downs.

The big story this year is the Super Pick 5, a new bet to Louisiana Downs that has the potential to create massive jackpot pools. Also this season fans can enjoy Horse Racing Bingo – an interactive and fun way to enjoy the races for those new to the sport.
