Did you know that Dave Mustaine's daughter is a singer? At only 15 years old, Electra Mustaine recently appeared on the Seattle morning TV show 'New Day Northwest' along with musician Jason Kertson to perform a stripped-down version of the Megadeth classic 'A Tout le Monde.'

While Electra Mustaine is a descendant of thrash metal royalty, the teen's sonic partner Jason Kertson also comes from a famed musical background. Kertson is the grandson of Rob Lind, who plays saxophone and harmonica while contributing vocals for Seattle protopunk / garage rock band the Sonics, who reunited in 2007 after a near 40-year hiatus.

Both Electra Mustaine and Jason Kertson have some big shoes to fill, but the duo fearlessly put themselves out there to perform 'A Tout le Monde' for a Seattle (and now worldwide) audience.

The duo have also teamed up for a special concert to benefit Operation Ward 57, a non-profit organization that focuses on aiding U.S. military service members. Electra and Jason, with supporting act Lady Justice, will perform at Louie G's in Fife, Wash. on Aug. 22. The suggested donation for the show is $5, but patrons are free to pay whatever they feel is fair.
