Although he's back to melting faces with the reunited Soundgarden, one of Chris Cornell's not-so-guilty pleasures has been playing acoustic shows.

Earlier this year, Cornell went out on tour to bring that acoustic experience to fans, playing a mix of solo material, Soundgarden and Audioslave tracks, and assorted covers.

The tour was recorded for posterity, and became the "Songbook" album, which was released last week.

Even though the album is out, the "Songbook" tour continues, wrapping up in San Diego on December 17th.  One of the stops on the Fall leg of the tour was the Maquinaria Festival in Santiago, Chile, where Chris shared the stage with Faith No More and Megadeth.

The entire show made it to the internet, but the Cornell Secret Service (i.e., his manager) got to the video before I could get it posted.  Damn the man!  But I was able to scrape up a few decent vids from the show...enjoy!
