I've never seen this one. The refs just told a band, and CHEERLEADERS, to be silent to help the other team. Isn't the point of CHEERLEADERS to make noise?

This happened last night in the Central Michigan vs. Toledo game last night, a game that was eventually won by Toledo. If I was CMU, I would protest the loss. Even if this was just ONE PLAY, that could have been the play that changed the outcome of the game. The noise could have caused Toledo miscommunication the play, could have been a fumble, CMU takes it in for a TD and takes the game over.

Apparently the head of MAC Officials has come out to say the ref was wrong, but what does that do for CMU after the game?

Put this one up with the Fail Marry as one of the worst moment for football officials ever...
