Well...me, Gonzo, my old lady and the rest of our crew somehow managed to survive Mayhem. It was 103 degrees in the middle of a parking lot in Dallas and the Gexa security guards were pretty much the BIGGEST dopes/dicks in the world. I'm sun burnt, deaf, and smell like Lindsey Lohan's vagina after a 3 day drinking binge...but all in all, it was one HELL of a day. Check out some photos from our misadventure below. I'm sure we'll have more to post later on, but I have yet to find my pants and camera.
Here at 99X, we try to play as much of the good new stuff as we can, but with all the new music that drops every week, there's just not enough time to get it all on the air. But, we still want to give you a chance to check out some great new rock that may, or may not eventually find a place on 99X
The music scene in Shreveport/Bossier has changed A LOT over the years. We've lost some bars, we gained some. A lot of bands have come and gone. But two things that bummed me out more than anything were when Soundstage shut down and Tiki Bar quit having Metal Mondays. Thankfully, we're getting one of those things back!
