If there is one thing that really tugs on my heart strings, it's a sick child. That is why we here at 99X have so much love for the Brothers Keepers MC. Not only is the MC made completely of current/former fire fighters (which they deserve to be noted for), but they do some amazing work for kids who suffer from serious burns and are one of the sole supporters of Camp I'm Still Me, which helps kids live a full childhood and lets them know that their scars are only skin deep. And over the next month or so, BKMC will be working hard to raise money for this great cause.

Not only will the Brothers Keepers have a booth at this year's Festapalooza, but they also have several other up coming charity events.

The Longview/Tyler Chapters are having their big Burn Run September 27th in Gladewater, TX. In October, many of the Chapters are getting together for the Metroplex Fire Fest in Arlington.

No matter how you support these guys, make sure you do it. Buy a T-shirt at Festapalooza. Go to the Burn Run. Make a donation online. Any help is a big help for the great cause these guys support.

For more info on the Brothers Keepers, their mission, and how you can help: visit their website here or stop by and talk to them September 20th at Festapalooza.
