Arcade Fire spent the summer paying tribute to musicians from every town they toured through and, for Halloween, they're now paying homage to horror movies with their own short film, 'Festi.'

Directed by 'Noreen Bauble' -- a pseudonym the band have used in the past -- the 21-minute movie is set during the band's 2011 summer festival tour and revolves around the 27th birthday of multi-instrumentalist Will Butler. But due to rock and roll's cursed 27 Club (Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Kurt Cobain and many more died when they were 27), Butler and the band find themselves haunted by the ghost of Jim Morrison (another member of the club) and surrounded by murder.

Since the film is based in found footage a la 'The Blair Witch Project,' it allows for a multitude of celebrity guest appearances including Peter Gabriel (as a security guard), actor Andrew Garfield, the National, James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem and more.
