Worst Day of Dove Hunting Ever!!
Rain+Wind=Not a fun day in the field.
This past Saturday was the opening day of dove season and not a lot got accomplished. I had high hopes but Mother Nature squandered all of that with her blessing of a storm. I sat in a field, cussing everything for about 2 hours and then I finally got a gut full of it, went to Academy and bought some skeet, and shot them down by the river until it was time for the LSU game. By the way, Go Tigers!! That was the best part of the whole day. Anyway, next weekend is the opening day of Teal Season and I can’t wait because even when the conditions are crappy, you can always bet you’ll shoot something.
