We Are Harlot’s Danny Worsnop: ‘We Were on Top of The World Making This Record’

We Are Harlot kicked off day one of last weekend's Carolina Rebellion Music Festival in Concord North Carolina.   Front man Danny Worsnop and guitarist Jeff George address their chaotic touring schedule during the summer music festival season, working together and why writing their self-titled debut album was so much fun.... 

When asked what the hardest part of touring and the festival season is....Danny said, "There are a few things that are tough, I mean obviously the thing not different with every tour is being away from home", Jeff added, "I think sometimes it's harder on other people than us, our families." The pair met five years ago and their strong bond is evident onstage and off.  It is safe to say that when the band went into writing their self-titled debut album, life and their love for each other and of course their love for music and performing is why the record is so much fun.  Danny said “We were on top of the world making this record."  Jeff George, “For me, it's not very often in the music business you get to play in a band with your best friends.” 

The band's energy while performing is contagious amongst the crowd.  Danny, “We're running around the stage like maniacs....we don't know how to do anything else.”

The band recently announced their nomination for Best New Album at the 2015 Kerrang Awards.
