Walking Down The Boulevard Of Broken Dreams

Another year, another dashed hope.  With the Dallas Cowboys’ 34-31 loss to the Green Bay Packers last night, it’s now been 21 years since the Cowboys advanced to the NFC Championship Game.  That’s how long it’s been since The Triplets thrilled us die-hard Cowboys fans by winning 3 Super Bowls in 4 years.  So, though I’m sad that the ‘Boys lost, I’m certainly not surprised.  And with Dak Prescott becoming the first rookie quarterback in NFL history to throw 3 touchdown passes in a playoff game, Shreveporters should be proud.  So, now I’m looking forward to next year with optimism.  Kind of like I’m optimistic that it will snow in the SBC this winter.
