Iron Maiden (and vinyl fans) rejoice! The band has announced that their classic 1980's catalogue will be re-released on heavyweight 180g black vinyl this fall!

The Maiden platters will be released chronologically across a two month period starting October 14th with the first three albums: "Iron Maiden", "Killers" and "The Number Of The Beast."

Adding to the tingling in my musical naughty parts, the albums will also be cut from the original analogue master tapes and packaged in identical artwork to the initial 1980's releases. "But wait!!!" (In my best TV infomercial announcer voice) "There's more!!!" As a bonus, the first batch of album releases will also be made available in a Collector's Box sized to house all 8 albums, a package that will be a strictly limited edition and available only until collectors suck them all up.

(more TV infomercial announcer voice) "And if you act now..." - In conjunction with these sweet new re-issues, a strictly limited one-off run of the 7 inch singles from each respective album will also be available...also cut from the original analogue master tapes and released in replica artwork packaging.
