This just goes to show you that even in times of tragedy, humanity still prevails.

The 2015 Flooding of the Red River has been at the forefront of many people's minds as destruction and doom has swept Northwest Louisiana over the past few weeks. Homes, property, land, livestock and more have been destroyed in the largest flood in the area since 1945.

But we can't say thank you enough for ALL of the emergency responders that have truly stepped up to do their part to help everyone affected by this act of nature. In fact, a special thank you goes out to Caddo Parish officers, Corporal Casey Jones and Sergeant Allen Davidson, who jumped into the Mighty Red and rescued two dogs that were swept away by the river and brought them to safety. The dogs were recently reunited with their owners.
