Trent the Mechanic Boots a 27-Yard Field Goal [Video]
On Sunday, Vikings kicker Blair Walsh somehow missed a 27-yard field goal in the final seconds of the Vikings wildcard game against the Seahawks, causing them to lose the game, ending their season.
When you're a pro, you should be able to kick a 27-yarder with your eyes closed...maybe even with the opposite foot. It's a chip shot...at least according to Trent the mechanic.
You see, Trent came in to work and heard a Vikings fan running his mouth. Trent claimed that even he, work boots and all, could successfully put it through the uprights from 27 yards out. So, his coworkers found a football, drove to a snow-covered field and made Trent put his money where his mouth is. And folks, Trent did not disappoint!
We expect to see Trent in an NFL uniform next season.
