For the last few weeks, we've been telling you about Geek'd Con, which is a giant comic con/pop culture convention coming to the Shreveport Convention Center. We're really freaking excited about this. The list of guests is incredible, from Chewbacca to the writer of Deadpool: Merc With A Mouth to Jeremy London and Michonne's Pets from The Walking Dead.

One part of the guest lists that really sticks out, is the voice actors. When I look over the resumes of the names on that list, I see my childhood starring back at me. So for the next couple of weeks, I'm going to put together some lists of my favorite roles for each of the actors. I'm going to start with the 10 biggest Jess Harnell voices:

Number 10: Chilly from Doc McStuffins

I'm not necessarily a huge fan of this character, but my kids are. The kids are crazy about this Doc McStuffins show, and Chilly happens to be one of their favorite characters. Not only does Harnell get to do the voice, but he gets to bust out his singing ability too. (Don't forget, Jess Harnell is the lead singer of the epic band Rock Sugar)

Number 9: Odin from Super Hero Squad

Super Hero Squad is a great kids show. It opened up the world of Marvel superheroes to a whole new group of kids. It was funny, well drawn, and gave life to some characters that lived in the outer-shell for a long time. One of those characters is Odin, father of Thor and Loki. You probably know that from the Thor movies, where Odin was played by Sir Anthony Hopkins, but about the same time the movie premiered, Jess Harnell got his crack at being the ruler of Asgard...question is, who wore it better?

Number 8: Cedric from Sofia The First

Another Disney Junior role for Jess Harnell, which isn't a bad thing at all. Disney offers some of the most solid work for voice actors. This role is prime for what Jess brings to the table: he gets to create an entirely new character, and sing with him.

Number 7: The Presidents from Mr. Peabody & Sherman

Not only did Jess get to knock out the role of George Washington, but he also got to voice Abraham Lincoln and Bill Clinton as well. Toss in a couple other roles (New York Cop and Isaac Newton) and Harnell owned a good chunk of the summer blockbuster.

Number 6: Tim The Bear from The Cleveland Show

YES. Jess Harnell voiced one of the most iconic roles in The Cleveland Show. Now, this is a character that he didn't create, he took over in Season 3 for show creator Seth McFarlane. But the most remarkable part, is that the character didn't miss a beat.

Number 5 (tie): The Human Bullet & Sewer Urchin from The Tick

'FIRE ME BOY!' One of the funniest of The Tick's friends was always The Human Bullet. He was a pretty simple character, really only one power, and he needed a lot of help along the way, which is where a lot of the humor came from. Sewer Urchin was funny based on the fact he smelled like, well...the sewer. Both roles were fantastic.

Number 4: Captain Hero from Drawn Together

Drawn Together was pretty groundbreaking. It was one of the first over-sexed, foul mouthed, successful shows done in cartoon form. Captain Hero was a big part of the show, creating comic relief in a show that could get really awkward, really quick.

Number 3: Crash Bandicoot from the Crash Bandicoot Game Series

I know, I know...Crash Bandicoot doesn't really talk much. Which is what makes voicing the character pretty impressive. To be able to create a voice, and to get the point across without using actual words, is tough. Now Jess wasn't the original voice, but he's held the role since 2005, over 4 games. Being Crash for 10 years makes him the longest-running voice of the character ever.

Number 2: Ironhide from The Transformers Film Franchise

Only a 2 actors have voice Autobots through more movies than Jess Harnell has. He voiced Ironhide through the first three Transformers movies. Bringing the character to life from 2007-2011, until the character's on screen death. One of the other notes on Harnell's Tranformers participation, he was also the voice of Barricade in the first movie, making him the only actor to play both an Autobot AND a Decepticon.

Number 1: Wakko Warner from The Animaniacs

What an iconic role. The Animaniacs took the world by storm in the 90s, as a kid in that era, it didn't get much better. Full of slapstick humor and song, the show was sure to grab your attention.

I loved every minute of that show, which is why I'm so freaking excited to meet Jess Harnell this August at Geek'd Con in Shreveport! If you need ticket info, we have it below.
