Back in February, we did a post on the 99X web site about Shreveport's 2017 plan for street improvements.

The plan not only included 50 new street projects, but 4 new bike paths beginning with a path on Centenary Boulevard.  At the first public meeting concerning the project back in February, the city got an earful from the bike community about what was wrong with the plan.  As a result, the Centenary Boulevard route has been scrapped and other amendments have been made to the proposal.

On Wednesday, you'll have your second opportunity to add your voice to the discussion on the planned locations of Shreveport's bike paths.  The City will host the meeting at 5:30pm on Wednesday at Centenary College's Whited Room.
