Two adults and a juvenile now face charges for their alleged involvement in two armed robberies Sunday afternoon.

Just before 4:30PM, Shreveport police were called to the 6000 block of Line Avenue to a report of an armed robbery at a restaurant there.

Employees of the business say a man armed with a handgun entered the business and demanded money. The suspect was last seen running off on foot. No one was injured.

Less than an hour later, officers were called to the Circle K in the 8900 block of Walker Road after a woman was reportedly robbed there. A mals suspect armed with a handgun accosted the victim as she was preparing to enter the store. She was robbed of personal belongings, but was not injured.

The suspect fled the scene in a blue sedan. Patrol officers spotted the car believed to be used during the robbery near the intersection of St. Vincent Avenue and Bert Kouns. As officers were approaching, one of the occupants ran off, but was caught a short time later. The 16-year-old reportedly ditched a handgun during the chase.

Two men, 25-year-old Chaves Hodges and 31-year-old Richardo Holmes, were detained after being found inside the car. During a vehicle search, officers located evidence of both robberies.

All three suspects face multiple counts of armed robbery. Detectives are investigating whether the trio may be involved in other armed robberies in the area.
