Tonight is a super special edition of WWE Smackdown, as tonight is the show's 900th episode. WWE Hall of Famer Edge is confirmed to appear tonight. The Rock is rumored to either be there in person or to appear in a pre-taped video package. But, more importantly than all that, tonight will be the return of the Undertaker.

The Undertaker is probably one of the most important men in the history of WWE. Through good times and bad, the Phenom has been there to carry the show to new heights. Whether its his ground breaking vignettes in the early 90s, the Ministry of Darkness or almost killing Mick Foley by throwing him off the top of Hell in a Cell, Taker has forever changed WWE and is widely respected as one of the greatest to enter the ring.

Tonight will be the first time we've seen the Deadman in a WWE ring since Wrestlemania. And there is a LOT of speculation about this being Taker's last run. Rumors suggest that WWE could be pairing him up Randy Orton for a feud, some believe he's looking to extract revenge on Brock Lesnar and others believe Goldberg is in his future.

But no matter what the future holds for Taker, he is most certainly closer to the end than he is the beginning. And if history is any indication, tonight will be the start of another amazing chapter in his storied career.
