This pretty much sums up my life: recently, I left a woman very very confused. While I was hanging out with my friend Kandi at the Disturbed/Rob Zombie show, people kept coming up to me and giving me 'Too Sweets'. And she didn't understand the hand gesture. And when I attempted to explain it to her, she just stared at me like a dog trying to figure out a card trick. I'm sure situations like this are part of the reason why I'm single.

So, I guess this is my attempt to explain the gesture for the masses to understand. The move became super popular during the pro wrestling 'Monday Night Wars'. The Kliq - made up of Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Shawn Michaels, Triple H and Sean Waltman - made it kind of their secret handshake. When Hall and Nash moved to WCW and stared the NWO, they incorporated Too Sweet in the culture of the faction, using the hand gesture to celebrate and even made the name 'Too Sweet' a catch phrase.

Me being a huge wrestling fan, not only did I think the NWO was the coolest thing ever but my friends and I started Too Sweeting and incorporating NWO elements into our real lives. It was just awesome.

Fast forward a few years, The Bullet Club arrived in New Japan Pro Wrestling in 2013. And the Bullet Club, being huge wrestling fans of 90s wrestling, paid homage to the NWO bringing back several elements of their faction including Too Sweeting. This brought the move back to the public forefront.

Now, let's back up for a second. You may not know this, but I'm a bit of a germophobe. So, I hate shaking hands. So, in my personal life, instead of shaking hands, I Too Sweet people. For years, during Too Sweets dormant years, some folks didn't get it. But thanks to surging popularity of pro wrestling, its cool to Too Sweet again.

So that's the story. That's the reason I throw up Too Sweets. And please don't get pissed if I don't shake your hand.

And, oh by the way, I started the Shreveport Chapter of the Bullet Club. Why? Because we're just TOO SWEET!
