The New Orleans Saints announced several free agent moves this week.

Agreeing to three-year deals with a pair of former Carolina Panthers, wide receiver Ted Ginn, Jr and linebacker AJ Klein. Both are nice role players, who didn't cost the Saints over-priced contracts.

Former Detroit Lion guard Larry Warford signed a 4-year contract, which will help to solidify the Saints offensive line. On the defensive line, the team confirmed the re-signing of Nick Fairley, which was a top priority this offseason. The team also confirmed that they have released Jairus Byrd.

Perhaps the biggest move was the trade the team swung with the New England Patriots. After all of the talk about trading wide receiver Brandin Cooks to the Philadelphia Eagles or the Tennessee Titans, it was the Patriots who end up with the discontent speedster. The Saints let their Fourth Round draft pick head to New England too, and brought back a First Round pick and a Third Round Pick.
