2013 was (is) a big year for Nirvana, a band that has been around in name only for two decades.

Earlier this month, it was announced that Nirvana had been nominated for The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Strangely enough, if the band makes the cut (and if they don't, it will be the Hall's most ridiculous travesty), they will be inducted 20 years to the month after Kurt Cobain's suicide.

Back in September, we were treated to the 20th Anniversary Edition of Nirvana's "In Utero" -  a collection available in several different versions, the most deluxe of which features three CDs and a DVD.  Included in the box is a fresh mix of the album, some unreleased stuff, Steve Albini remixes, some new liner notes, and handwritten lyrics from Kurt Cobain.
