Telltale Games has announced all sorts of details about its upcoming Game of Thrones series, confirming the story's depiction of House Forrester and its five different protagonists.

The talented team at Telltale Games has announced that its Game of Thrones series will take place during the War of the Five Kings. It has been confirmed that the events of the game will take place towards the end of Season Three of the HBO series of the same name and will end right before Season Five begins (hopefully, the last episode launches before Season Five starts in April 2015). This Game of Thrones series will focus on House Forrester, who have sworn allegiance to the Starks of the North. As with most of the Stark's supporters, House Forrester will be conflicted by Rob Stark's war against the Lannisters, the Red Wedding and the aftermath of the War of the Five Kings.

Confirmed locations you'll see in the game include The Wall, King's Landing and new places, such as Ironrath, the home of House Forrester which resides in the Wolfswood in North Westeros. The Forresters are Bannermen to House Glover and their home is surrounded by ironwood trees. Their sigil is one of these trees and their house words are 'Iron from Ice,' which reminds them that they are strong from living in the cold North of Westeros.

Game of Thrones will have six episodes (though it is unclear whether or not there will be multiple seasons) and focus on five protagonists, consisting of members, kin or servants of House Forrester and spanning across both Westeros and Essos. Just remember that a decision or action you do with one character is likely to ripple out and affect the rest.

The premiere episode of Telltale's Game of Thrones, 'Iron From Ice,' will be coming out sometime before the end of 2014 (within the next seven weeks). Telltale Games has announced that the first episode will be arriving soon for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and the iOS format. Android and other platforms will be announced at a later date. Valar Morghulis!
