Amanda Knox, the American woman convicted of murder by an Italian court in 2009, has been freed after an appeals court overturned the decision on Monday. Her co-defendant and former boyfriend, Raffaele Sollecito, was cleared as well.

Roger Clemens’ perjury trial was declared a mistrial Thursday by the judge sitting on the case. According to the New York Times, Judge Reggie Walton said the prosecution “revealed information that he previously deemed inadmissible.” Judge Walton got angry when the prosecution began playing a tape of the 2008 Congressional hearings focusing on performance-enhancing drugs. Earlier today, the verdict was released for Casey Anthony. Anthony was on trial for the murder of her 2 year old child.

The jury found Anthony NOT GUILTY of 1st degree murder, aggravated abuse of a child, and manslaughter of a child.

Anthony was found guilty of 4 counts of providing false information to a police officer.
