Truth be told, I don't think I've ever watched a complete episode of 'American Idol'. I hear about about it in the halls occasionally, but I never know the names of the contestants...never care who wins. Steven Tyler was a judge, right? I hope he got a fat check, because it seems like a bit of an embarrassment for the front man of America's Greatest Rock Band to become a clown for mass entertainment.

If you listen to 99X, and I'm assuming you do, or you wouldn't be reading this (duh...), you've probably heard of Redlight King. They had a great song that sampled Neil Young ("Old Man") out last year...and they've been seeing a lot of success with their latest "Bullet in My Hand". They'll be playing a lot of high profile festivals this summer - including Rock On The Range - so, you'll be seeing a lot more of them in the future.
