Ozzy Osbourne once said he wanted to join Slipknot, singer Corey Taylor claims.
Faithful maggots who have been pining away for new Slipknot since the release of ‘All Hope Is Gone’ way back in 2008 are going to have to keep waiting for awhile, because the band has no plans to record.
But fans in the US can take heart knowing that there’s an American tour on the horizon for next year, according to drummer Shawn ‘Clown’ Crahan.
Singer Corey Taylor is best known for his role in two big-selling bands (Slipknot and Stone Sour), and the same can be said of bassist Duff McKagan (Guns N’ Roses and Velvet Revolver).
There’s a pretty good chance the next high-profile group for each of them will be a joint project, according to Taylor.
Ever since he was a kid, Corey Taylor has wanted to write a book.
The Slipknot and Stone Sour front man finally fulfilled his dream with the recently released hardcover Seven Deadly Sins: Settling the Argument Between Born Bad and Damaged Goods (Da Capo Press).
Front man for Stone Sour and Slipknot, Corey Taylor, is about as talented as they get. We've known his talents as a song writer and now we get to experience that talent in book form.
The book, Seven Deadly Sins hit stores earlier this week, and I've already added it to my Wishlist on my Kindle.
