Nick Oliveri doesn't think a permanent Queens of the Stone Age reunion will happen because he apparently owns 47 percent of the band's trademark.

A new band featuring some of rock's most celebrated names is planning to release a new album in November.

Members of Soundgarden, Queens of the Stone Age and Off! are forming a new supergroup that doesn't have a name yet.

Many Queens of the Stone Age fans probably thought it would never happen, but former bassist Nick Oliveri reunited with the band on April 15 after a 10-year absence.

Josh Homme from Queens of the Stone Age recently sat down for a fan Q&A with Australia's Fasterlouder.com. Some of the questions he answered (watch above) included the Grammys, the Kyuss lawsuit, the possibility of another Desert Sessions album and his favorite ice cream flavor.

Last week, Josh Homme went on an expletive filled tirade after some douche-nozzle got on stage in the middle of a Queens of the Stone Age performance. This week, Homme turned his anger and sharp wit towards numerous subjects, including the Grammys and Imagine Dragons.

In an age where Dimebag Darrell got murdered by a fan that rushed the stage, it's probably not the best idea to try to get on stage during a concert. But people still try. You had the poor kid that got killed after trying to get on stage at a Lamb of God concert, and now we have another douchebag rush the stage at a Queens of the Stone Age concert. Singer Josh Homme's response? Epic.

A couple of weeks ago at the Grammys, there was an all-star rock jam session scheduled to take place with Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age, Dave Grohl and Lindsey Buckingham. Unfortunately, the Grammys had other ideas and decided to cut the performance short and air commercials instead. Which led to Trent Reznor understandably getting pissed and a lot of rock fans raising hell.

For the first time in a LONG time, it seemed that the Grammys were going to acknowledge rock and roll. But those hopes were quickly dashed as the Grammys pretty much dropped a big, steaming turd on the rock world.

A big congrats is in order to Black Sabbath and Queens of the Stone Age as they're among the rock leaders for the 2013 Grammy Awards. Each of the acts received three nominations when the Grammy Awards nods were revealed Friday night (Dec. 6).
