iwrestledabearonce Homegrown Band Gone Hollywood [VIDEO]

For those of you who didn't know, back a few years ago I used to produce our local rock show "Homegrown." Do you remember a local band iwrestledabearonce? I remember them well.  The first time I heard them I was, to put it lightly, knocked on my ass.

Well the 5-some is now based out of LA and getting some pretty good ink. They've got a new album coming out July 26th called "Ruining It For Everybody" on Century Media Records .

To all you Staind Fans that have hoped that they would get back to the heavy s%*t we came to love them for, get ready for Staind. That's the name of the up coming release from Staind on Atlantic Records, their seventh album.

Bush Releases New Song for Free Download

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. So what’s a new mp3 from Bush worth?

Fortunately, you don’t have to answer that question, because the band is giving away their new single, ‘All My Life,’ for free. The track, due for inclusion on the band’s upcoming album ‘The Sea of Memories,’ is being offered at the Electronic Arts website for free download.

Why EA, you ask? The partnership came about because another track from the album – which will be made available for free download on July 25 – is being featured on EA Sports’ ‘NHL 12.’ An unusual tie-in, perhaps, but when your band has been away for the better part of a decade, you’ve got to try and make a splash.

The group, christened SuperHeavy, is planning a September release for their debut album. No specific date has been set, and they haven’t announced a title, but they have plenty of material to choose from; during their first week together, they wrote more than 20 songs, and they’re filming a video for the lead-off single, titled ‘Miracle Worker.’

“Things are coming along good, we’re having fun and we’ve got around five demos wrapped up but it’s still very early and we need to get everyone in a room and just jam,” said vocalist Josh Todd.
