Every week, tons of bands release new music. Some good, some bad. And we try to play as much of it as humanly possible. Here are some new tracks that you may or may not hear soon on 99X. If you think there is something we should hear, let us know!
We are just about halfway through 2014, and there have been tons of albums released and lots of festivals/tours bouncing around the country with lots more to come. But we already know how good Godsmack, Judas Priest, Theory of a Deadman and all those guys are. What about all the up and coming bands that are on the verge of hitting the big time?
Here is my list of bands that you need to keep an eye

Louisiana natives and metal icons Crowbar are back with a brand new spanking album 'Symmetry In Black' in honor of their 25th Anniversary. If you haven't picked up a copy yet (which you need to!), here is the band's first single 'Walk With Knowledge Wisely'...
I don't know about you, but I'm starting to get really pumped for the new Hellyeah album 'Blood for Blood'! So far, we've heard the title track and first single 'Sangre Por Sangre (Blood For Blood),' 'Cross to Bier' and they've been tossing a few other cuts from the new album into their live show. Now, we have another studio quality cut from the new album 'Demons in the Dirt'!
In case you didn't know, Soundgarden is coming up on the 20th Anniversary of their break through album 'Superunkown'. In honor of the big 20th Anniversary, SG is releasing a deluxe version of the album that will feature B-sides, demos, rehearsals, and a whole lot more. So to get us pumped up for the big celebration, Chris Cornell & Company have released a demo version of 'Black Hole Sun'!

It's been a couple of years since we've heard from Cold. Their last album, Superfiction, came out in 2011. The band, however, is hard at work on a new project and they need our help!
2013 was a banner year for our buddies in SOiL. Not only did they reunite with original singer Ryan McCombs (which is AWESOME) and put out a new album, 'Whole' (which is absolutely PHENOMENAL). But they also melted faces and kicked ass all over the world on tour. So, building on their success from last year, SOiL is back with a brand-spanking new single, 'The Hate Song'.
