It looks like we'll have very few opportunities to see Metallica live this year, with nothing scheduled anywhere close to us as of yet.  But fortuneltely, METALLICA performed at Germany's annual Rock Am Ring festival on Saturday night (June 2nd),  and I've managed to scrape up pro-shot video of the entire show!  Enjoy it before record company suits make us pull it down:

Megadeth‘s Dave Mustaine has said some interesting stuff lately, such as supporting Republican Presidential candidate Rick Santorum only to rebuke that support, opposing gay marriage, telling women in Africa to “put a plug in it” regarding birth control, but now he has said something even more interesting. In a recent radio interview with Minneapolis radio station 93X, Mustaine spoke about the proposed supergroup with Megadeth bassist David Ellefson and Metallica‘s James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich that he spoke about last year.
