The last day of July and...no guests?? Well, we might have some surprises on tonight's show. Definitely will have lots of your favorite locals...I'll tell you about some upcoming shows you DON'T wanna miss...and premiere some brand new tunes from a couple of Texas bands, too...

...a few members from Porcelain Arms...and the guys from Death Rides the River!  We'll be talking about a variety of things...the upcoming Homegrown Live show...current musical projects, past ones...and I'll be dusting off some old, familiar tunes for your reminiscing pleasure...

I've seen these guys live a total of....ONE time. I think there were a couple of other Shreveport shows of theirs where something might have come up with either me or them.  One of the things I love most about these Austin, Texas, guys is the way they dress...

Whoops! I forgot to post this yesterday...so it's a two-fer Tuesday! : )  I don't wear this shirt often enough, because I have a very different problem with it than most of my others...it's a little too SNUG.  Haha!  I can't tell you when I met the Dekree guys, but it's the one and only time I've ever seen them in person...

Mister VP!...Knights of Thor Louisiana Chapter Vice-President Dee Everett joins me tonight...to talk about next weekend's KoT Fest! The entire Homegrown show lineup is made up of bands playing the festival, which is dedicated to a very special young man...

I managed to run into two of the guys from Simsboro, Louisiana, band Dugdemona at the Riverside Warehouse this past Saturday night (and forgive me for not remembering your names!!!)  They recognized me...asked me if I had a shirt...I said no...

They're playing their first show together on the July 4th weekend...and both bands join me in the studio to tell you AAAALLLLL about it! It's gonna be madness! And someone's GUARANTEED to be offended! The Moulin Dudes (minue one)...and IDLE of the Peach (minus one) are on tonight's Homegrown show...

The Southview guys join me tonight to talk about what all they've got coming up! And they have a new tune to share with you! Plus, Nathan just celebrated a birthday...so we have to pick on him a little. Haha! Also have a new tune from Expletive...

You might have known them previously as Ultraswade...now, they've added a new (and very familiar to Homegrown) bass player and changed the name -- to The Laud Waters Band! They'll be chatting about what's been going on with them lately...
