Julien’s Auctions in Beverly Hills recently held the estate auction of guitarist and innovator Les Paul. The two-day auction brought in nearly $5 million for the Les Paul Foundation, a charity founded by the legend to support music education, engineering, innovation and medical research.

Remember that really cool Doodle that Google did to Celebrate Les Paul's Birthday? Yeah, I wasted a good amount of time playing around with the interactive guitar doodle. I obviously didn't spend as much time as this guy. Someone posted a Youtube video of them playing the guitar doodle and playing a pretty convincing version of Led Zeppelin's "Stairway To Heaven."
