Since Kurt Cobain’s death in 1994 and Nirvana‘s inevitable breakup, Dave Grohl has stayed in the limelight and has flourished as the leader and frontman of Foo Fighters.
Krist Novoselic, meanwhile, has put music on the back burner for the better part of the last 17 years. But Novoselic has picked a good time to strap on his bass again for the public: a Sept. 20 celebration and fundraiser in Seattle to mark the upcoming 2oth anniversary of Nirvana’s ‘Nevermind’ album.

Help Angi Ring in Her Fight Against Leukemia
Angi Ring used to work here at 99X. She's a part of our radio family and she's a truly kind and special person. She worked for the radio stations for several years, then followed her career to Dallas, where recently, she was diagnosed with Leukemia. She will have to be at MD Anderson in Houston for her bone marrow transplant. It's going to be a tough battle, but Angi is strong. Please help us to raise funds for Angi this Saturday at What's on Tap? in Shreve City from 11am-4pm.
