The Foo Fighters scored their second moon man for Best Rock Video at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards last night. I know I was also surprised that the Foo Fighters have only won a total of TWO awards at the VMA's, but I really think they deserved this win for their video "Walk."
The Foo's beat out Cage the Elephant "Shake Me Down," The Black Keys "Howlin' For You," Foster the People "Pumped Up Kicks," and Mumford & Sons "The Cave."

When the Foo Fighters decided to start work on their latest album, "Wasting Light", frontman Dave Grohl said "It's time for us to be a rock band again." What better way to get back to the roots of rocking than to record the album in a garage?
So producer Butch Vig built an analog recording studio in Dave's garage, and the band recorded "Wasting Light" the old fashioned way - on tape.
It seems like there is always one guy at every rock show who just doesn't play well with others. While the rest of the crowd is dancing and trying to have a good time, there will always be one guy kicking the air and throwing random hay-makers.
This is how fights tend to start and Dave Grohl doesn't tolerate this kind of behavior at his shows.
The Foo Fighters are touring in Europe at the moment, and Saturday night the tour stopped at the Milton Keynes Bowl in the U.K.

Over the years we've heard about Van Halen's insistence that there be "no brown M&Ms" in their dressing room; Jennifer Lopez's demand for a "white room with white flowers, white tables, white curtains, etc., etc., etc.; and Metallica's 24 page novel of necessary items for their backstage enjoyment.
