<p>Whereas most artists would just paint their subjects on a canvas, Meade actually turns her subjects INTO the canvas. She creates life-size installations that are shockingly exact in their similarity to actual acrylic paintings. Upon first glance it’s almost impossible to tell that there are real people under all that paint.</p>
