Shreveport born musician Buddy Flett is just one of stars featured on "The Blues Train", a 48 hour ride on the rails from Los Angeles to Longview.

Flett, T-Bone Walker and other legendary blues players entertained members of the T-Bone Walker Blues Fest board, as well as passengers,on the two day Amtrak ride from California to East Texas. The "Blues Train" was an Amtrak promotion for passengers traveling to Longview for the 11th annual festival.

The 62-year-old Flett is best know for his acoustic blues style, and for musical partnerships with some of the genre's biggest stars, including Walker and Kenny Wayne Shepard.
