Shooting Leaves a Man Dead in Shreveport

A local man has died as a result of a shooting in west Shreveport.

It happened in the 7900 block of Trannie Lane just off of Jewella shortly before 5pm. Police believe there was an argument between a man and a woman.

One man was shot in the upper body. He later died. Detectives say there were several people in the home at the time of the shooting.

Police have detained one man but no charges have been filed.
