Four people are recovering from gunshot wounds after two separate overnight shootings in shreveport.

The first happened at around 11 p.m. Friday at a home in the 3800 block of Murvon Street. Patrol officers found two adult males suffering from gunshot wounds to various areas of their bodies. The victims are identified as 57-year-old Robert Palm and 28-year-old Orson Gibson, Jr. Both men were taken to University Health for treatment.

A third victim, 37-year-old Salinto Davis, was driven to University Health by private vehicle. He’s told detectives he was also at the home during the shooting. Davis and Gibson were treated and released. Palm remains hospitalized, but is expected to survive.

According to a preliminary investigation, the three men were standing in the front yard of the Murvon Street home, when a dark-colored SUV drove past them and fired multiple shots. The vehicle was last seen headed towards Jewella Avenue. Investigators found several spent shell casings in the roadway.

Police say there was evidence of drug use in the yard where the men were standing. No charges have been filed so far, but the investigation, and search for suspects, continues.

A second shooting happened at around 1 this morning at the intersection of Hollywood Avenue and Broadway. A man identified as 34-year-old Brandon Bradford was shot at a business there. He suffered three gunshot wounds, and was taken to University Health for treatment.

Police say Bradford was at Consumers Grocery when he and three other men got into an argument. One of the three men pulled a firearm and shot Bradford. The suspects took off afterward, and haven’t been located yet.
