Matt Damon's love interest in Gus Van Sant's newest film 'Promised Land' is making is blush, big time.

Our crush today is a 41-year-old actress who was born in Flushing, Queens. She is the granddaughter of boxer James J. Braddock -- we mention this because she played the role of his neighbor, Sara Wilson in the movie 'Cinderella Man,' which was made about his life.

Dewitt starred in FOX's 'Standoff,' and Showtimes's cult hit 'United States of Tara,' where she played Tara's sister Charmaine. On the big screen, Dewitt has been in many films in recent years, including 'Margaret,' working alongside Anna Paquin and Mark Ruffalo, 'The Company Men,' 'Your Sister's Sister,' and 2008's 'Rachel Getting Married,' in which she played Rachel. She won several critics awards for that role, including the Satellite Award for Best Supporting Actress.

In 'Promised Land,' she plays Matt Damon's object of affection, Alice, whom he meets in a Podunk bar, during a business trip. We've met those ladies too, but they almost never look like Rosemarie. WHY IS HOLLYWOOD IS LYING TO US?
